Advanced Biotech Hemocoll is a fibrillar Type-I collagen hemostatic agent developed to control bleeding and stabilize blood clots during dental and minor surgical procedures. The high-purity collagen fibers naturally attract and aggregate platelets, supporting the body’s natural clotting mechanism for rapid and effective hemostasis.

This absorbable, sterile collagen wound filler protects the wound bed while supporting tissue regeneration. Hemocoll does not require thrombin for effectiveness and is completely resorbed within 3–4 weeks, contributing to a faster and more comfortable healing process.

Indications

Contraindications

• Not recommended for patients with known sensitivity to bovine or ovine collagen sources

Direction for Use

• Apply Hemocoll in dry form whenever possible.
• Compress the treatment area with dry gauze to minimize bleeding.
• Remove the gauze and immediately place Hemocoll directly onto the bleeding site.
• Apply moderate pressure using dry gauze for 2–5 minutes.
• Hemocoll may be removed, replaced, or left in situ as clinically required.
• Ensure direct placement at the bleeding source to avoid sealing over deeper hemorrhage.
