Bausch Fleximeter®-Strips

Bausch Fleximeter®-Strips are flexible, non-toxic measuring strips designed for accurate determination of preparation distance and height during restorative procedures such as crowns, bridges, and telescopic crowns. They are also used to determine material thickness and adjust the vertical dimension when fabricating bite guard splints.

Made from special silicone rubber, these strips are flexible, durable, and sterilizable up to 200°C (390°F). Available in three thicknesses, they allow precise measurement and controlled bite elevation. Fleximeter®-Strips can be used alone or in combination with Arti-Spot® or Arti-Spray occlusion spray to clearly mark contact points.

Directions for Use

• Pre-Use: Clean, disinfect, and sterilize before each use.
• Sterilization: Steam sterilization (humid heat) at 134°C. Can withstand sterilization up to 200°C.
• Insert the strip between upper and lower teeth to measure occlusal spacing or preparation height.
• Use individually or in pairs depending on the clinical indication.
• For contact marking, coat the strip with Arti-Spot® or Arti-Spray before use.
• After use, sterilize again or dispose of as contaminated clinical waste.
