Bioteck Pericardium Membrane

Bioteck Pericardium Membrane is a structured resorbable membrane in which the natural molecular links between collagen and elastin fibers are preserved. This structure provides extended protection time of approximately 3–4 months, significantly longer than standard collagen membranes. After this period, gradual degradation begins and the membrane loses its occlusive function.

Despite its enhanced durability, the membrane is easy to handle and can be sutured without tearing due to its strong tridimensional structure. Fixation is generally not required, though it is recommended when additional stability is needed.

Precautions

The long protection time results from preservation of the membrane’s tridimensional structure and fiber bonds.
