Directa Luxator Periotome is designed to preserve bone integrity and minimize trauma during dental extractions. These instruments are specially engineered periodontal ligament knives with fine, tapering blades that help loosen teeth gently and efficiently.

The blades compress the alveolar bone and cut the periodontal membrane, allowing the tooth to be eased from its socket with minimal tissue damage. This atraumatic technique is particularly valuable when planning for future implant placement.

Indications :-

• Severing the periodontal ligament during tooth extraction

Directions for Use :-

• Angle the blade approximately 20° away from the root surface
• Insert the blade into the sulcus to reach the crest of the alveolar bone
• Advance apically to sever the periodontal ligament
• Repeat circumferentially in stages until attachments are released
• Use only for ligament cutting, not as an elevator
