DMG PermaCem 2.0 is a universal, dual-cure, self-adhesive composite luting cement designed for the permanent cementation of a wide range of indirect restorations. By incorporating a newly developed adhesive monomer formula, PermaCem 2.0 delivers an exceptional bond across all substrates, including zirconium oxide, without the need for separate enamel or dentin bonding.

As a true single-step cement, PermaCem 2.0 eliminates the need for etching, saving chairside time and significantly reducing post-operative sensitivity. Its exceptionally low water sorption enhances long-term reliability and esthetics, while its excellent flow under pressure ensures a thin, uniform cement layer with fast and easy excess removal.

Indications

• Permanent cementation of inlays, onlays, crowns and bridges
• Cementation of metal, metal alloy, metal-ceramic and composite restorations
• All-ceramic restorations including zirconia, alumina, lithium disilicate and feldspathic ceramics
• Cementation of fiber-reinforced root posts
• Permanent cementation of crowns and bridges on titanium or zirconia implant abutments

Contraindications

• Preparations with insufficient retention (e.g. veneers)
• Patients with known allergies to any ingredients
• Direct pulp capping

Interactions

• Do not use with eugenol-containing materials (e.g. temporary cements or root canal fillings)
• Ensure all temporary cement residues are completely removed prior to cementation
• Avoid contamination of tooth and restoration surfaces before cementation
