Itena MTA Bioseal is an endodontic root canal sealer based on Mineral Trioxide Aggregate (MTA). This bioceramic, dual-paste system ensures complete and reliable sealing of root canals, including accessory and lateral canals, providing an effective long-term seal.

Containing 13% Mineral Trioxide Aggregate, MTA Bioseal is designed to be used in combination with MTA Biorep to optimize endodontic repair procedures. Its advanced formulation supports excellent biocompatibility and dependable clinical performance.

Composition

Base Paste

• Salicylate resin

Storage

• Store in a cool, dry place away from heat and humidity
• Do not refrigerate
• Keep the product tightly capped when not in use

Precautions

• Use appropriate protective clothing, gloves, and eye protection for both patient and clinician

Directions for Use

Mixing: The dual syringe automatically mixes the material in a 1:1 ratio. Press the plunger to dispense directly onto a glass slab, mixing pad, or into the root canal. Use immediately after mixing.

Insertion: Apply MTA Bioseal using gutta-percha by coating cones with a thin layer of cement and filling the canal with the selected obturation technique. The material may also be placed using a Lentulo spiral or directly with an applicator adapted to the self-mixing tip. Discard the self-mixing tip after use.

Removal: Root canal fillings can be removed using conventional gutta-percha removal techniques.
