Ivoclar Bluephase 20i G2 LED Curing Light
Ivoclar Bluephase 20i G2 is a high-performance LED curing light delivering an output of 2,000–2,200 mW/cm², enabling ultra-fast curing times of as little as 5 seconds. Designed for chairside use, it produces energy-rich blue light for reliable polymerization of light-curing dental materials.
Featuring Ivoclar’s advanced Polywave® technology, Bluephase 20i G2 emits a halogen-like broadband spectrum (385–515 nm), making it suitable for curing all common light-curing dental materials without clinical limitations.
Indications
- Polymerization of all light-curing dental materials within 385–515 nm
- Restoratives, bonding agents/adhesives, bases, liners, fissure sealants
- Temporary materials and luting materials for brackets
- Dental laboratory materials such as those used for ceramic inlays
Advantages
- Four curing modes for flexible clinical use
- Polywave® LED with broadband spectrum (385–515 nm)
- Unrestricted use for all light-curing materials
- “Click & Cure” corded back-up power supply independent of the battery
- Cordless design for maximum portability
- Seamless housing design for optimal hygiene
- Innovative motion sensor for immediate operation
- 3-year warranty (1-year warranty on battery)
- 10>8 mm light probe for high-intensity focused curing

Directions for Use
Start
Switch on the light using the start button. The curing program stops automatically once the selected time has elapsed. The light can be stopped earlier by pressing the start button again. The cooling fan operates during and after curing; do not remove the battery until the fan has stopped.
Acoustic Signals
- Start / stop
- Every 10 seconds during curing
- Program change
- Curing time change
- Battery insertion and charging
- Error messages
Measuring the Light Intensity
The output can be checked using a Bluephase Meter. If measured values differ from expected levels, verify the selected program, clean the light sensor, clean the light emission window and probe with alcohol, and replace damaged probes if required.
