Ivoclar Cention N – Starter Kit
Ivoclar Cention N is a radiopaque, self-curing filling material with an optional light-curing feature. It releases fluoride, calcium, and hydroxide ions, making it suitable as a full-volume replacement material for Class I, II, and V restorations. Light curing can be performed in the wavelength range of 400–500 nm, if desired.
Cention N belongs to the Alkasite group of materials and combines tooth-coloured esthetics with high flexural strength. Its patented alkaline filler supports the release of hydroxide ions during acid attacks, helping regulate pH levels and prevent demineralization. Additionally, the release of fluoride and calcium ions promotes remineralization of dental enamel. The advanced initiator system ensures reliable self-curing.
Cention N is remarkably simple to use and does not require a primer, varnish, or curing device. Compared to conventional glass ionomer cements, up to seven working steps can be eliminated. Only dosing, mixing, filling, and finishing are required.

- Liquid: Dimethacrylates, initiators, stabilizers, and additives
- Powder: Calcium fluoro-silicate glass, barium glass, calcium-barium-aluminium fluoro-silicate glass, iso-fillers, ytterbium trifluoride, initiators, and pigments
