Kuraray Caries Detector is an advanced caries disclosing agent designed for conservative dentistry. It assists clinicians in accurately identifying infected carious dentin during cavity preparation, enabling optimal removal of decalcified tissue while preserving healthy, remineralizable dentin.

By selectively staining only the outer infected dentin layer, Caries Detector helps protect pulp vitality and ensures maximum conservation of sound tooth structure.

Direction to Use :

• Step 1: Isolate the carious tooth with a rubber dam. After initial excavation of carious enamel and dentin, wash and dry the cavity.
• Step 2: Place one drop of Kuraray Caries Detector on a sponge pledget and apply it to the cavity.
• Step 3: Leave for 10 seconds, then rinse thoroughly with water. Remove the red-stained outer carious dentin.
• Step 4: Repeat the detection process if necessary to ensure complete removal of infected dentin.
