Dentsply AH Plus Root Canal Sealer

Dentsply AH Plus Root Canal Sealing Material is a two-component paste/paste root canal sealer based on epoxy-amine resin technology. It exhibits extremely low shrinkage, making it an excellent choice for achieving a long-lasting and reliable seal of the root canal system.

AH Plus is particularly suitable for use with ProTaper Thermafil obturators, as its setting reaction is not adversely affected by thermoplastic obturation techniques. Its proven clinical performance, dimensional stability, and superior sealing ability make it one of the most trusted sealers in endodontics.

Shrinkage, Solubility & Expansion

AH Plus is designed to achieve a high degree of tightness. Its extremely low shrinkage and low solubility ensure long-term impermeability of the treated root canal.

Film Thickness

AH Plus has a film thickness of 26 µm, which is well below the ISO requirement of less than 50 µm for root canal sealing materials.

Flow Behavior

AH Plus exhibits slightly thixotropic flow behavior, allowing easy mixing and smooth introduction into the root canal while maintaining stability. Its flow of 36 mm exceeds ISO requirements (> 25 mm).

Caution

• Do not exchange tube caps

Working Time

• Minimum 4 hours at 23°C
