Prevest DenPro Chlor X – Chlorhexidine Based Root Canal Irrigant (2%)

Prevest DenPro Chlor X is a 2% chlorhexidine-based root canal irrigant formulated for effective irrigation and cleansing of the root canal system prior to filling with resin-based materials. It provides excellent antimicrobial action while remaining gentle on oral and periapical tissues.

Chlor X is widely used in routine and complex endodontic procedures, including retreatment and surgical cases. Its biocompatibility, pleasant taste, and non-irritating nature make it especially suitable for use in sensitive and pediatric patients.

Indications

• Used as a final irrigant during chemomechanical preparation
• Irrigant of choice during retreatment root canal procedures
• Indicated for irrigation of the apical third of the root before retrograde filling during apicoectomy (root end surgery)
• Effective irrigant for treating internal and external resorption cases
• Used before sealing coronal or radicular perforations in the tooth
