Shofu FL-Bond II is a two-step self-etching, fluoride-releasing bonding system designed to deliver excellent adhesion to both enamel and dentin. It provides a secure and durable marginal seal while offering enhanced biocompatibility and ease of handling.

The moderately viscous consistency of FL-Bond II ensures stable placement, especially on sloping cavity walls, resulting in an even film thickness across all preparation surfaces and consistently strong bond strength.

Application

Step 1: Priming

The FL-Bond II Primer contains an advanced adhesive-promoting monomer and a new photo-initiator. Its self-etching action prepares enamel and dentin without the need for separate phosphoric acid etching.

Step 2: Bonding

The FL-Bond II Bonding Agent incorporates fluoride-containing S-PRG (Surface Pre-Reacted Glass-ionomer) fillers. These provide continuous protection against secondary caries through optimized remineralization of adjacent tooth structure. The high filler content also ensures excellent abrasion resistance and prevents marginal washout, ensuring long-term sealing.

Info: FL-Bond II Etchant contains approximately 7% phosphoric acid and is specially designed for selective enamel etching when required prior to using self-etch bonding systems.
