Pulpdent Porcelain Etch Gel Kit is designed for fast and effective surface preparation of porcelain restorations prior to bonding. A one-minute application etches porcelain crowns, veneers, inlays, and fractured porcelain surfaces, creating an ideal surface for reliable and durable adhesion.

This superior-quality porcelain etch gel does not stain porcelain, composites, or resin cements. It provides controlled etching while preserving the esthetics and integrity of restorative materials.

Directions for Use

• Ensure protective eyewear is worn by the practitioner, assistant, and patient; gloves must be worn by the clinical team
• Place a rubber dam to isolate the operative site and protect soft tissues
• The assistant should hold the vacuum tip 2–3 inches from the porcelain surface during etching to evacuate acid fumes
• Attach a 25-gauge luer lock applicator tip to the syringe; initiate gel flow on a pad and discard this sample
• Do not initiate gel flow inside the patient’s mouth; use a new applicator tip for each patient
• Apply Porcelain Etch Gel to the porcelain surface and leave for one minute while evacuating fumes
• For lithium disilicate restorations, etch for 10–15 seconds
• Some ceramic materials may require air abrasion to achieve optimal bonding
• Cap the syringe immediately after use
• Rinse thoroughly with copious water and dry with clean, uncontaminated air
• If using Embrace™ First-Coat™, Embrace™ Restoration and PFM Repair Kit, or Pulpdent Silane Bond Enhancer, follow the respective manufacturer instructions
• Proceed with porcelain repair or cementation of crowns, veneers, or inlays
