SDI Riva Star is a next-generation desensitising system designed to provide immediate and long-lasting relief from dentinal hypersensitivity. This two-step patented silver fluoride and potassium iodide procedure supports minimally invasive dentistry and helps preserve tooth structure.

Riva Star also exhibits strong antibacterial properties, assisting in biofilm inhibition and cavity cleansing while enhancing the bonding of glass ionomer cements to dentine.

Indications:

• Desensitising cervical tooth hypersensitivity
• Cavity cleansing

Contraindications:

• Do not use on teeth with active carious lesions (unless covered with glass ionomer)
• Avoid in patients with allergies to silver, fluoride, potassium, iodine, ammonia, or methacrylates
• Not recommended for patients undergoing thyroid therapy

• Inform patient about potential staining risk
• Avoid contact with soft tissues, eyes, and skin
• Use gingival barrier to protect soft tissues
• Do not ingest; keep out of reach of children

• Do not use with resin-based composite restoratives

Storage:

• Store between 2°C and 8°C
• Use at room temperature (20°C–25°C)
• Do not pierce capsule foil until ready to use
