Indications

Contraindications

• Do not desensitise teeth with carious lesions unless covered with a glass ionomer
• Do not use on patients undergoing thyroid gland therapy
• Contraindicated in patients with known allergies to silver, fluoride, potassium, iodine, ammonia, or methacrylates
• Consult a physician or allergy specialist if allergy status is uncertain

Precautions

• For professional use only
• Do not repeat treatment on pregnant or lactating women
• Avoid use on anterior teeth unless treating caries due to potential staining
• Inform patients about possible staining prior to treatment
• Apply gingival barrier before Step 1 to prevent soft tissue injury
• Avoid contact of solutions with eyes, skin, and oral soft tissues
• Keep out of reach of children
• Do not ingest

• Do not use after expiry date
• Not compatible with resin-based composite restorative materials
• Wear gloves and eye protection during use

Storage and Handling

• Do not pierce capsule foil until ready for use
• Store in a cool, dark place at 2°–8°C (35°–45°F)
• Use at room temperature between 20°–25°C (68°–77°F)

Directions to Use

• Clean teeth using a non-fluoride prophylaxis paste
• Assess teeth; treat only sound dentine and enamel
• Isolate the area with cotton rolls
• Dry teeth and gingival tissues
• Apply gingival barrier overlapping the tooth slightly (<1 mm)
• Light cure using a fanning motion (do not spot cure)
• Step 1: Pierce silver capsule foil and apply solution to treatment site using silver brush
• Step 2: Immediately apply green capsule solution generously using green brush until surface turns clear
• Blot dry and remove gingival barrier
• Discard used capsules and brushes according to local regulations
